Assessing the preparedness of England’s natural resources for a changing climate: Assessing the type and level of adaptation action required to address climate risks in the ‘vulnerability hotspots’

This is  a report supporting Managing the land in a changing climate – Adaptation Sub-Committee progress report (July 2013).

The supporting research considers climate impacts on a set of resource categories in terms of their perceived contribution of ecosystem services. Key sectors considered include:

  • agriculture,
  • forestry,
  • biodiversity conservation (protected areas),
  • peatland, and
  • coastal zone management.

The supporting research was written by Scotland’s Rural College.
