1. Outline
This technical report accompanies the ‘Net Zero’ advice report which is the Committee’s recommendation to the UK Government and Devolved Administrations on the date for a net-zero emissions target in the UK and revised long-term targets in Scotland and Wales.
The conclusions in our advice report are supported by detailed analysis that has been carried out for each sector of the economy, plus consideration of F-gas emissions and greenhouse gas removals. The purpose of this technical report is to lay out that analysis.
