The CCC commissioned MCC Economics to review and summarise the evidence and views shared in the call for evidence held in Spring 2022 on voluntary carbon offsetting. This Call for evidence provided stakeholders with the opportunity to input into the CCC’s work and to enable the CCC to draw on the full range of up-to-date evidence relating to offsets. The views and evidence provided helped inform the CCC’s 2022 report ‘Voluntary Carbon Markets and Offsetting’.
