A letter from Lord Deben and Baroness Brown of Cambridge to Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, in response to the consultation document on the proposed Environment Principles and Governance Bill.
It sets out the Committee on Climate Change and Adaptation Sub-Committee’s high level thoughts on the remit of the proposed watchdog, and on the environmental principles.
The Committees will write again prior to the consultation deadline on 2 August.
