The heat is on: the importance of resilient water supplies

Whilst the recent warm weather has been a welcome treat for some of us, extended hot and dry periods put extra pressure on UK water supplies. Climate change is only adding to the problem. David Style says steps must be taken now, by regulators, water companies and individuals, to ensure the taps don’t run dry in the years ahead.

Adaptation Reporting Power: second round review

This report presents the findings of a review by the Adaptation Sub-Committee of the second round of the Adaptation Reporting Power (ARP). The Adaptation Reporting Power was created as part of the Climate Change Act (2008). It allows the Secretary of State to ask key organisations to report on the steps they are taking to prepare for climate change.
